How does SayStay select the students?

We work in partnership with agencies around the world in order to accommodate students enrolled in schools across Australia. This helps us with the background check so we can select someone that you can trust.

What do I have to offer to become a host?

Our hosts must enjoy spending time with students, with a friendly and empathic attitude. The student will need a clean and tidy accommodation. They will also require their own room, bed, desk, chair, study-light, and up to 3 meals per day.

What support do I get from SayStay?

SayStay is always ready to help! We have a 24/7 assistance line for emergencies.

How do I get paid?

We pay our host families in advance. The first 2 weeks on the Thursday before the student’s arrival and fortnightly from then on.
